New Peace Era

A human being is part of the whole, called by us “universe,” a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest—a kind of delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

A Shared Crisis and Our Collective Responsibility

In our collective existence, humanity stands on the brink of a significant crisis that transcends social divisions. Normally it is thought that the world appears tailored to benefit only a select few, leaving those with fewer resources grappling to survive. Among the less fortunate, there exists a genuine struggle to fulfill basic life necessities. Their perception of the world is one of insecurity, grappling with issues such as poverty, hunger, lawlessness, injustice, and violence—a challenging daily existence. However, our global narrative extends beyond this. In contemporary times, a majority of humanity confronts similar challenges, irrespective of their social standing. Both those deemed privileged and the economically disadvantaged find themselves entangled in the intricate issues of our era.

In the current age, challenges such as insecurity, violence, terrorism, climate change, and an imperceptible economic downturn impact everyone. The globe is ensnared in an unparalleled crisis that permeates every facet of existence, affecting all without exception. It necessitates a collective acknowledgment of its severity. As we navigate through these challenging times, it is essential to recognize that the issues confronting us transcend particular groups. They represent challenges that require the collective effort of humanity. Embracing this understanding paves the way for a unified response—a blend of resilience and compassion that transcends the artificial boundaries of privilege and scarcity.

The challenge of insecurity impacts individuals universally, irrespective of their social standing. Fear of leaving one’s home and concerns about potential dangers are prevalent. Violence represents another widespread issue affecting people globally. Instances of killings, rape, and torture occur daily, constituting a problem faced by all humanity. Terrorism further compounds the challenges, creating widespread fear of potential attacks and uncertainties about personal safety.

The escalating global crisis of climate change is impacting every corner of the Earth at an alarming pace. The most recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) highlights that numerous climate shifts witnessed are unparalleled, spanning thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years. Additionally, some of the changes currently underway are irreversible, with implications extending over hundreds to thousands of years.[1]

The apprehension of an economic downturn is a concern affecting people worldwide. There is a pervasive sense of worry and anxiety among individuals globally about the potential occurrence of a substantial economic decline or collapse. To put it simply, people are uneasy about the adverse effects on the economy, and this unease is not limited to a specific social class or geographic region but is felt universally.

It implies that the current state of affairs is not favorable for the well-being of a significant portion of the global population, irrespective of their social or economic standing. This reflects a widespread feeling of dissatisfaction and discontent among people, signaling that the existing systems, structures, or conditions are falling short in meeting the needs and expectations of the majority. Both those with fewer resources and those with more material advantages are grappling with the same array of challenges. These challenges encompass factors like growing uncertainty, climate-related disasters, violence, apprehensions about economic crises, and the looming specter of a global conflict. Importantly, these challenges are all-encompassing and do not discriminate based on social or economic status.

The amalgamation of these challenges adds to a gloomy perspective for the entire global population. This suggests a shared sense of pessimism regarding the future, as various concerns cast shadows on what awaits ahead.

This is the Time for a Change

Due to escalating uncertainty and chaos, a substantial part of the worldwide populace believes that a change is imperative. However, there is a lack of clarity concerning the nature of this change and the methods to enact it. This might indicate a prevailing sentiment that the current systems are neither sustainable nor effective, urging a demand for transformative measures. While there is broad acknowledgment of the necessity for change, there is a deficiency in consensus or comprehension regarding the precise reforms or actions needed.

To overcome the escalating global challenges and common unrest, we need to adopt a more inclusive and sustainable approach that takes into account the needs of all people and the environment. This requires an inner transformation to bring a fundamental shift in our values, attitudes, and behaviors, and a commitment to cooperation, compassion, and respect for all life. Only then can we hope to create a world that is equitable, just, and peaceful, and that ensures the well-being of all people and the planet.

To change the present global condition, we need to embrace fundamentally different approaches in our interactions with both each other and our environment. Urgency is emphasized by distressing economic indicators and climate analyses, with time dwindling swiftly. If we neglect to take action, the responsibility paradoxically rests on every individual currently living in this era. At this pivotal moment in history, assigning blame for the origin of this predicament becomes less relevant. What holds the utmost significance is our collective capacity to tackle the impending major disaster.

To tackle this crisis effectively, we must break free from the confines of exclusivity. Recognizing our interconnectedness is essential in this endeavor. We should be prepared to challenge our assumptions and welcome new ideas and perspectives. Learning from our mistakes and collaborating to find solutions to present challenges is crucial. Uniting as a global community to collectively address these issues is vital, working together to shape a more promising future for everyone.

To forge a better future for ourselves and future generations, it is imperative to develop a fresh understanding of our true existence on Earth. Instead of relying on conventional approaches such as creating new technologies, systems, or mechanisms to solve challenges, we need to transcend this mindset. Our focus should shift to a comprehensive analysis of the broader context and addressing the root causes of our problems. Adopting an open-minded attitude, questioning assumptions, and collaborating to find collective solutions is crucial. A shared purpose should motivate each individual to contribute to creating a peaceful and trustworthy world for the entire human race. Only through such an unprecedented and productive transformation can we cultivate new perspectives of the world and instill a novel set of values for the benefit of the planet.

We find ourselves in a momentous period of transition, and the role of the current human population is profoundly significant in shaping a harmonized world. Our task is to actively participate in this transition, facilitating the essential change that must initiate with each individual serving as a steward of nature. The transformation is already underway, and we all play a part in it. Just as the breaking of ice on a frozen river indicates warming trends and currents that have been in motion for an extended period, the surface breakup is the result of a process, not its inception. Such initial changes signify the culmination of a process that has been unfolding for days or even decades.

The Signs of Change

In the face of historical challenges such as injustice, slavery, and devastating world wars, there have been positive strides suggesting progress towards a more peaceful world. These include the establishment of international organizations and treaties through the UN framework, the adoption of diplomacy and dialogue for conflict resolution, a decline in armed conflicts, and the growing interconnectedness of nations, economies, and cultures through globalization. Despite ongoing challenges, these positive developments signify a thawing process toward a more peaceful future for the world.

How to bring a change?

Nevertheless, to bring about a systemic and enduring transformation, it is crucial to comprehend the impact of the exclusivity within our consciousness on the degradation of our world. Understanding the significance of evolving our secondary consciousness into a more advanced state becomes essential in the pursuit of establishing a harmonized and enduringly peaceful world. Systemic change doesn’t spontaneously arise from a change of heart; it is intentional, emerging from a specific and rigorous process aimed at fostering an internal shift and realizing the necessary level of consciousness.

Exclusivity Characterizes Our Secondary Consciousness

In the present day, humanity is acutely aware of the array of threats looming over its existence. We acknowledge that greenhouse emissions in the atmosphere have surged to critical levels, yet our inability to control them persists due to a sense of exclusivity. The alarming and potentially deepening chasm between the planet’s impoverished and affluent is acknowledged, but a reluctance to share from our surplus wealth prevails, driven by exclusivity. Despite our awareness that the relentless pursuit of producing increasingly lethal weapons could wreak havoc on humanity, a desire to lead in this arms race endures, fueled by exclusivity. We comprehend that the intention to use artificial intelligence for harm may backfire and harm ourselves, yet these intentions persist due to exclusivity.

Despite the fact that the foundation of the system of life rests on natural diversity, we persist in imposing our ideologies on the rest of the world through cruel acts of extremism and terrorism. Surprisingly, even with this awareness of the dangers, we take minimal action to prevent them. It’s remarkable to observe the current preoccupation with ominous predictions, with books detailing impending crises becoming bestsellers. Yet, we seem to lack the time or energy to actively contribute to addressing these issues. Why? Because we perceive ourselves as separate from global affairs, driven by a sense of exclusivity.

I have a Gift for Humanity

Drawing from my personal life experience, I have a special offering for my fellow humans — a gift with the potential to revolutionize your lives and the lives of others. It is a gift capable of infusing meaning and purpose into your existence, filling your lives with excitement, energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of gratification. Importantly, this gift can add value to the lives of all humans, regardless of material privilege or disadvantage. It involves the process of transforming our secondary consciousness into an evolved one, paving the way for the creation of a harmonized world that sustains permanent peace for all its inhabitants.

A Vision of Harmonized World of Permanent Peace

Fortunately, a significant breakthrough is surfacing that holds the potential to rescue humanity from a mass extinction by the middle of the 21st century. Amidst this unparalleled discord, we find ourselves presented with an opportunity that may not reappear for an extended period: the chance to shape a society that genuinely mirrors our core values. In a world seemingly pulled in countless directions simultaneously, we now have the opportunity to select a direction, a focal point, an intention. Never before has it been so evident: by seizing this golden opportunity, our future lies within our control.

It is crucial to seize this moment. Our grandchildren will reflect on this time and admire the courage, foresight, and simple common sense we displayed in steering ourselves away from the edge of global collapse. Instead of reproaching us for our selfishness and lack of foresight, they will extend their blessings for achieving such a remarkable feat. Presenting a vision to cultivate a harmonized world that is productive and beneficial for every member of humanity is my gift to my fellow humans and the future generations to come. For me, the endeavor to transform human secondary consciousness into an evolved consciousness, thus shaping a sustainable and pragmatic world for all of us, is both a source of great pleasure and an expression of deep humility.

I genuinely believe that this is not the call of an individual—it is a call to all of humanity. You are urged to focus on this highly productive invitation. By joining this compassionate journey, I sincerely hope you will adopt my sense of optimism and enthusiasm about our future. Along the way, you will be prompted to contemplate some of the unrealistic and uncomfortable aspects of your thoughts and actions. Our success hinges on acknowledging our shortcomings and making positive strides in our lives based on our learning.

Let’s give way to our developing consciousness

We are currently in an era of significant transition in human consciousness, moving from a secondary to a developed state. Consequently, this marks an age of awakening and the most profound stage of change that humanity has ever encountered. It is a period wherein the inner power of humanity will reshape our consciousness, prompting us to choose to depart from the illusory dream of a colorful soap bubble and awaken to reality. Soon, we will attain a broader and more realistic consciousness, introducing greater and enduring dimensions to our material reality and substantially elevating our role as custodians of nature. Let us permit our evolving consciousness to acknowledge that a single creative power flows throughout the universe and within every human being, instilling the same sense of commitment to serve.
